Hello there! Thank you for visiting my site! I’m Stefan Volkers, currently 20 years old. I live in Nijverdal together with my parents, sister and my cat. I am studying Creative Media & Game Technologies (CMGT) at Saxion University of Applied Science in Enschede.
I grew up with a lot of technology around me and I’ve always been curious how technology works from the inside. My dad was always into technology and gadgets and we share this passion together. At the age of 7, I started playing games. When I was 12 I gained a lot of interest in creative computer programs it all started with simple programs like: Paint.net, Windows Movie Maker and Virtual DJ. In the time of middle school, I started working with a lot of Adobe products and I also got into producing Music and Web Development.
When I was 16 years old I discovered Unity. This is where a lot of my skills came together. I started learning programming and kept improving all other skills I needed to create games. I like to learn about every single aspect of game development, and I always want to be involved with everything. My main interest and specialization is Engineering.
For the last two years, I have worked a lot with Virtual and Augmented Reality. I made a VR-Game for an Escape Room, and I experimented a lot with projection mapping and 3D motion sensors like the Intel RealSense, Xbox Kinect and Leap Motion.
I am an ambitious guy and I’m really passionate about game development. I love to learn new things and explore new possibilities.
